Hi Kids, 

If you ever find yourself in Siena and in dire need of a good, nay great, sandwich then look no further then La Salumeria di Bobbe e Davide on Via Camollia. The panini that this place produces are simply divine. Now I simply hate that phrase but no other phrase can quite encapsulate just how true the sentiment is. 

If you are lucky enough to grab one of the sparse tables you can sit in to eat or, more likely, grab one to take away and go sit, instead maybe, in the nearby Fortezza. It is also ideal, if you are looking for a quick meal on the move before you head down towards the train station as it is on the road on the way down to it. There is a great range of panini fillings on the menu, or you can make up your own one. Fair warning, the lady who makes them, a pure gem, will insist on adding random bits on top of what is listed such as balsamic glaze and/or pesto. There is also a great range of breads that you can choose, although if you choose anything other than the focaccia on offer, you are pure mad and I don’t think we can be friends anymore.

Price: You are looking at a beautifully, cheerful 4-6 euro range
